Shelters Needing Immediate Help

DIRE EMERGENCY: Nancy Forrester's Secret Garden Bird Sanctuary

The shelter is in danger of closing due to lack of funds and volunteer help. Funds are needed for utilities, hired help and parrot food. In addition, Nancy's main assistant is out of commission due to health issues and may not be able to work for three months. Steve Snyder has worked at the sanctuary for 12 years cleaning, feeding, handling and training birds, along with doing education programs for visitors. Volunteers are needed immediately.
