Nancy Forrester's Secret Garden Bird Sanctuary
Key West, Florida - September 2017
Hurricane Irma hit the Keys on Sept. 10, 2017, causing intensive damage. Founder Bruce Robinson spent 3 weeks making repairs at the sanctuary.

Massive damage occurred in the Keys during Hurricane Irma	Bruce arrived with a trailer full of supplies to help the bird sanctuary get back up and running.	Bruce loaded food, toys, water and cleaning supplies to take to the Florida sanctuary.
Steve is a dedicated bird lover and Nancy Forrester's right-hand man.	After repairs were made the birds were very excited to get some outside time.	Bruce's wife, Beth, is also an avid bird lover, and has visited the sanctuary as well.

Woodland Dunes Nature Center

Bruce has been a long-time volunteer at Woodland Dunes, helping with various construction projects and repairs.

Bruce built the observation tower at Woodland Dunes.	Bruce helped restore a dilapidated barn at Woodland Dunes.	This is a sky observation building that houses a large telescope. The entire roof slides off and on the building.
